Justin Mwangonde Didah, Country Director
Justin has been part of the More Water 4 Africa team for 6 years, originally joining as a drilling supervisor and now serving as the Kenya Director, leading the 8 person staff and overseeing the full MW4A operation. Before working at MW4A, he worked as the maintenance supervisor at Kaskazi Resort, on the South Coast of Kenya. After initially meeting Bob in 2008 at Mbewau, a church plant by Real4Christ (R4C) Ministries which he and his family attend, Justin became an important ministry partner to Bob, providing firsthand insights into the communities they would later serve together. He is thankful for his role at MW4A, as it allows him to help serve his people by providing water and be a tool in reaching those who are in need.
Justin lives in Kilifi County with his wife Elizabeth. They have four children, Patrick, Lorain, Rose, and Robert. Justin and his family still attend Mbewau church, where he serves as Lead Elder. He enjoys reading and listening to gospel music in his spare time.
Geoffrey Kuria Ndung’u, Well Consultant
Geoffrey has been a part of the More Water 4 Africa team for 5 years, now serving as a well consultant. Before working at MW4A, he worked for a Kenyan company drilling water wells, which is how he was first introduced to Bob and his ministry in 2008. Throughout his career he has performed water projects in Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda, Congo and South Sudan. He is proud of his role at MW4A, knowing it is in service to God, and desires to spend more time sharing the gospel during each well project.
Geoffrey lives in Diani with his wife Geraldine. They have four grown children, Vera, Kim, Elisha, and David, and one granddaughter, Tamarah. Geoffrey serves as a Baptist preacher in his community and is passionate about evangelizing and preaching to all people. He also enjoys reading, exercising, and traveling. One day he hopes to visit Great Britain (where his brother lives) the United States, and Dubai.
Fredrick Chai Kahindi, Driller
Fred has been a part of the More Water 4 Kenya team for 7 years, serving as a driver and borehole driller. Before working at MW4K, he worked at Kaskazi Resort. Prior to that he worked for local delivery service, where he first learned to drive a truck. He is grateful for the opportunity to serve communities by providing life-giving water.
Fred lives in Kilifi with his wife Joyce. They have one daughter, Mitchell Noale. Fred is trained in driving and enjoys singing and watching movies.
Peter Muoka Musembi, Driller
Peter has been a part of the More Water 4 Kenya team for 6 years, as part of the well-drilling team. Before working at MW4K, Peter was a farmer. Peter came to know MW4K when the ministry came to drill a borehole for his community, in 2014. Back then they were still part of R4C Ministries. He is grateful for the donors who make it possible for he and the MW4K team to serve communities by providing water.
Peter lives in Makobe Village with his wife Mwuomgeli Muia. They have three children, Leonard, Noeto, and Esther. Peter is trained in plumbing and enjoys farming and building houses.
Francis Kioko, Grounds Keeper
Kioko has been a part of the More Water 4 Kenya team for almost 4 years, serving as the gardener and compound caretaker. But he also sup:DLGlements the drill team often by taking part in well installations. His main role is taking care of the grounds at MW4K headquarters in Shimba Hills – a 5-1/2 acre property and equipment garage. Before working at MW4K, he worked with the grounds keeping staff at Maasai Corner School and Church. He learned about and became connected to MW4K through his church at Masaai Corner, a church plant by Real4Christ (R4C) Ministries. Recently he opened a butchery (meat market) nearby, since the closest one to this growing community is 9 kilometers away.
He loves working at MW4K especially spending time with the drill team and praying for the ministry.
Kioko lives in Masindani with his wife Unis. They have one child, Erick. Kioko is trained in welding and enjoys reading. One day he hopes to visit London.
Daniel Moya Kenga, Driller
Daniel has been a part of the More Water 4 Kenya team for 3 years, serving on the borehole drilling team. Before working at MW4K, Daniel was a farmer. He is thankful to be part of the MW4K team who continues to help people get access to clean water.
Daniel lives just down the road from the MW4K compound in Barcelona with his wife Salama, and their three sons, Filex, Faustine, and Geophry. Daniel continues to enjoy farming in his free time.
Dama Anthony “Mercy” Mitsanzi, Housekeeper and Cook
Mercy has been a part of the More Water 4 Kenya team for 1 year, serving as the housekeeper. She keeps the extensive MW4K facilities clean, including the guesthouse and the garage apartment and office. She also cooks the meals for the MW4K team (and their many guests). Before working at MW4K, she was a stay-at-home mom. She is thankful for the opportunity to work at MW4K because at MW4K, she describes, “we work as friends and brothers/sisters, and we love each other”.
Mercy is a widow and has three children, Henrique, Benario, and Emily. She enjoys singing and reading the Bible.
Flora Nelima Musomi, Clerk
Flora has been a part of the More Water 4 Kenya team for 6 months, serving as our clerk. She manages the paperwork and financials for MW4K, including keeping track of material inventory, project budgeting and cost tracking, and employee work hours. She also assists Mercy in the preparation of meals for large groups. Before working at MW4K, she was a student. She is grateful to be part of the MW4K team because she gets to serve God and people through her work.
Flora lives in nearby Kinondo, with her family. She enjoys traveling, reading, cycling, and writing poems.
Saidi Mohamed Zonzo, Night Watchman
Saidi has been a part of the More Water 4 Kenya team for 3 years, serving as a night watchman. In this role, he provides protection for the team members who stay at the compound during the week, and for the equipment stored at MW4K in the garage, there in Shimba Hills. Before working at MW4K, he worked for at a number of construction jobs, including the multi-year construction of Maasai Corner Church, School and Medical Clinic, just down the road in Shimba Hills. He is thankful for the opportunity to work in the friendly environment that is MW4K.
Saidi lives just down the road from the MW4K compound, near Maasai Corner, with his wife Riziki. They have four children, Mohamed, Badhiru, Salim, and Buheti. He enjoys playing football in his free time.
