More Water 4 Africa is a non-profit support entity that provides funding and management for two Non-Government Organizations (NGO) in Africa, More Water 4 Kenya (MW4K) and More Water 4 Liberia (MW4L). MW4K has been operating since 2018 as a certified NGO, but has been performing water projects under other NGO operations since 2009. In 2012 as part of another NGO Ministry, Real4Christ, we purchased our first drilling rig, in Texas, and shipped it over to Kenya via container ship. Since 2012 we have drilled over 50 wells and have assisted other non-profits in a dozen other water projects. In addition to well drilling we do rain water harvesting projects, water storage and distribution projects, and water treatment projects. Our purpose for performing these projects is two-fold: To provide water for people that have no current access to safe water and no means to obtain it; and to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ wherever we go and to whomever we meet.
MORE WATER Earns Candid Platinum Transparency Seal
More Water earns its’ first Platinum Transparency seal with Candid. Foundation Center was the largest source of information about philanthropy globally, and GuideStar was the largest source of information on U.S. nonprofit organizations. In 2019, both of these companies joined forces and became Candid. We are happy to form part of this important organization.
